1. Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Policy applies to personal information collected through ISO Metrik Dental Labs websites, customer and provider account areas, registration forms, online ordering, customer support, provider/clinic onboarding, and provider print-order functionality.
It does not govern the privacy practices of independent third parties that operate their own websites, payment systems, shipping services, analytics tools, or other services. Those third parties may have their own privacy notices.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect the following categories of information:
General Public customer information
- Name, email address, telephone number, account credentials, and preferred contact method.
- Shipping and billing addresses.
- Order history, product selections, quantities, fulfillment status, and customer-service communications.
- Marketing preferences and required consent acknowledgements.
Provider and clinic information
- Provider name, professional email and telephone number, provider type, job title, specialty, credentials, NPI number when supplied, professional license number and state, and role within the clinic.
- Clinic name, clinic type, business contact information, website, business address, clinic membership, and account approval status.
Technical and usage information
- IP address, browser/device information, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, login/session information, and site activity.
- Cookie and similar technology data used for security, account sessions, cart functionality, site preferences, analytics, and service operation.
Communications
We may retain information you provide when you contact customer support, request help, submit a contact form, respond to an email, or otherwise communicate with us.
3. How We Use Information
We use information for legitimate business and service purposes, including to:
- Create, verify, maintain, secure, and administer customer and provider accounts.
- Process product orders, payments, shipping, delivery, order tracking, remakes, returns, and customer support.
- Review provider/clinic registrations, verify account status, and administer provider access.
- Provide quotations, receive authorized provider print files, manage print orders, and communicate order status.
- Respond to questions, requests, disputes, account issues, and support inquiries.
- Detect fraud, abuse, suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, analyze, maintain, and improve our website and services.
- Send transactional or service-related messages, including registration, verification, approval, order, account, and security notices.
- Send marketing messages when permitted and consistent with your preferences.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect our rights, users, systems, and property.
4. Orders, Payments, and WooCommerce
Our online store uses WordPress/WooCommerce functionality to support customer accounts, cart activity, orders, billing, shipping, and fulfillment. When a third-party payment gateway is enabled, payment information is transmitted to and processed by that payment provider under its own terms and privacy practices.
We may receive transaction details such as payment status, amount, transaction identifier, billing contact information, and limited payment-method information needed to administer the order. We do not intend to store full payment card numbers in the ISO Metrik custom registration/profile databases.
5. Provider and Clinic Accounts
Provider and clinic registration is separate from General Public customer registration. We use professional and business information to establish provider identity, associate providers with clinics, administer approval workflows, provide provider-level functionality, and maintain business records.
Provider accounts may be subject to email verification and administrative review before provider-level access is granted. We may retain status history, administrative notes, clinic membership information, and audit records related to registration and account changes.
6. Provider Print Files and the No-PHI Rule
Approved providers may upload supported digital files for print quotation and fulfillment. Providers are responsible for ensuring that filenames, file contents, metadata, project files, and related submissions are de-identified and contain no patient-identifying information.
Security-language clarification: References on this site to a “secure provider workflow” describe access controls and security-oriented workflow features. They do not mean that this provider registration or print-order workflow is intended to receive PHI. Unless ISO Metrik expressly provides a separate documented PHI-enabled workflow, providers must continue to submit de-identified information only.
We may inspect uploaded files for technical compatibility, security, quoting, manufacturing, fraud prevention, and order administration. Files that appear to contain prohibited or unsafe content may be rejected, quarantined, or deleted.
8. When We May Disclose Information
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate the business or provide requested services, including to:
- Website hosting, security, email, cloud, data-storage, analytics, and technical-service providers.
- Payment processors and fraud-prevention providers.
- Shipping, delivery, fulfillment, manufacturing, laboratory, and order-support providers.
- Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, insurers, and attorneys.
- Government authorities, regulators, courts, or law enforcement when required by law or legal process.
- A buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with a merger, financing, restructuring, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not intend to sell personal information for monetary consideration. Certain privacy laws may define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly; where applicable, we will honor legally required choices and opt-out rights.
9. Marketing Communications
If you opt in to marketing, we may send product updates, educational information, promotions, or other commercial communications. You can unsubscribe using the link or instructions in a marketing message or by contacting us.
Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending non-promotional messages that are necessary to administer your account, verification, security, orders, provider approval, transactions, or support requests.
10. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to maintain accounts, complete orders, provide support, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain audit records, satisfy tax/accounting requirements, and comply with applicable law.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and business need. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it, subject to backup and legal-retention requirements.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure. Measures may include account controls, access restrictions, authentication, secure development practices, logging, and vendor safeguards.
No internet transmission, website, database, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using a strong unique password, protecting your sign-in credentials, and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.
12. Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or opt out of certain processing. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions.
You can update many customer account details directly through your account dashboard. For other privacy requests, contact us at info@isometrikdental.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
13. Children
The website and account systems are not directed to children under 13. Customer accounts and purchases should be created and managed by an adult who is at least 18 years old or the age of majority in the applicable jurisdiction. An adult may purchase an eligible product for a minor where appropriate.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy as our services, technology, vendors, legal requirements, or business practices change. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the effective or last-updated date. If a change materially affects how previously collected information is used, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
